For some in the social scene beyond your bedroom window, life is a neverending night of drunken debauchery and sexual encounters so frequent they get to slap “orgy” under Job Description on their CVs. For others, it is an endless cycle of cranking and living in envy. Thankfully – and in an effort to improve the lives of the latter while filling the formers’ life with meaning – some folks got together and found the one thing that can cure all loneliness and make people not suck anymore: electro.
JÄGERMEISTER and GRIET have teamed up to bring you Belgian electro DJ GTRONIC – live at Joburg’s Alex Theatre, and also at The Assembly, in that other city people seem to like: Cape Town!
GTRONIC is The King of “Heavy Bass Trash”, with tracks like SUCKERPUNCH , Iron Man and DANCE MACHINE and remixes for acts like Cyberpunkers, Designer Drugs and Mustard Pimp all under his belt.
From the local side of things, the line-up will feature the return of an epic battle in the form of HAEZER vs DOUBLE ADAPTER. This set pretty much burned the faces off everyone at 2011’s Grietfest and hasn’t touched Capetonian soil until this show. Also along for the ride is the latest member of the Griet family: Sibot.

This sounds like a party that wil l not suck. In terms of sucking I think its pretty important you don”t rock up at the party really early befor the dj”s start playing and get too trashed to hear the performances, but befor the ques are too long, you don”t wanna stand outside like a dumbass for an hour. Don”t get too drunk and not remember anything that would suck, and don”t wear lumo colors, if you do you just fuckin suck balls!
